　　Beyond樂隊自1983年成立以來，通過自己不斷地努力，從香港的一個地下樂隊成長為擁有固定歌迷的實力樂隊，越來越受歡迎，直到成為香港為數不多的頂尖創作團體，經歷了整整10年的時光。成為一支國際化的樂隊，這一直是Beyond的夢想，可是他們的才華一直到1993年才開始受到日本的關注。Beyond決定把重心移向日本，在結束了與新藝寶的長期合作關系之后，續簽滾石。1993年全隊遷往日本，準備進一步的發展。當Beyond面對自己的另一半時很難取舍，這首歌是送給背后支持Beyond四子的當時各自的情人的歌，而并不是像傳聞所說的送給歌迷的歌。
